VOYAGE Response to COVID

VOYAGE charters are committed to adhering to comprehensive health and safety procedures and local laws. Best practice guidelines have been provided to staff, including COVID-19 cleanliness specific guidance, training and information consistent with VOYAGE high standards.

VOYAGE Base Team

  • All staff are required to have their temperatures checked each day when they arrive at work.
  • All VOYAGE staff will be required to adhere to the strict social distancing guideline of keeping 6 ft apart.
  • Handwashing and sanitizing stations have been provided and staff are required to use these facilities according to policies put in place.
  • All staff are required to follow local government policies and wear protective masks and gloves or any other PPE where necessary.

VOYAGE Onboard Crew

  • VOYAGE crew are required to follow strict cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing procedures while onboard with guests.
  • All VOYAGE chefs are trained in food handling and safety. They are required to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in food handling areas.
  • VOYAGE crew are committed to safety and will practice social distancing while on charter or wear PPE when distancing is not possible.

VOYAGE Guest Pre-Arrival

  • VOYAGE charters have streamlined your check in and vessel orientation process in order to reduce person to person contact time at the VOYAGE base.
  • All check-in and briefing paperwork, specific to your yacht, will be sent to you prior to your arrival.
  • Your VOYAGE concierge will schedule a call for you with a VOYAGE briefing captain to review the specifications and operation of your vessel and answer any initial questions you may have.

VOYAGE Guest Arrival

  • All transfers to the VOYAGE base will be scheduled by your VOYAGE concierge with an approved taxi or private water taxi and must be pre-paid to avoid handling of cash.

VOYAGE Guest Vessel Departure

  • We ask that all guests please check that they have all personal items packed before departing the vessel. Anything left behind will be disposed of.
  • For the safety of our staff we ask that you strip all the beds and place all linen in the provided laundry bags and then in the marked dock cart. Linen includes:
    • All bed linens including mattress protectors
    • All bath, hand and face towels
    • All beach towels
    • All kitchen towels
    • Oven Mitts
  • We ask that clients bag all trash and place in marked dock cart. This includes:
    • Cabin bin trash
    • Any used or open food items
    • Clean, sorted recycling in blue bags
  • Any unopened food items to be placed in provided crates and left on the galley counter. Red crates for dry goods and blue crates for cold goods.
