Before your charter begins, your VOYAGE chef will build a fully customized menu based on the preferences you and your group provide. Throughout your trip, your chef will prepare and provide daily breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners.

Yes, once you have a confirmed booking, your charter sales agent will send you a confirmation packet that will include a preference sheet for you and your group to fill out and send back.

Yes, all of our chefs are trained and experienced in catering to various food allergies and are always happy to accommodate any special requirements.

Your Chef will contact you two weeks prior to your charter date to discuss and go over all your preferences and special requirements.

Yes, but we encourage guests to experience at least one meal ashore. There are many restaurants in the BVI that offer excellent international cuisine. Your chef will be happy to recommend options and make reservations for your group. Please note that meals ashore are not included in your charter rate.

Tipping your chef is standard practice in the yachting industry. Although gratuity/tips are welcomed they are not mandatory and are based upon the service that you, as the client feel you received. For your convenience we recommend the following as a guideline:

  • Good Service 5% - 7%
  • Excellent Service 8% - 10%
  • Percentages based on Charter Rate

VOYAGE Charters recommend you give your chef gratuity in cash; however, they are also happy to accept personal checks. If you would like to make use of the VOYAGE charters credit card facility, please note that a 3.35% credit card fee will be added.
