This is a special story about a special couple and we want to share it …
25 years ago, Sean and Debbie Campbell were the young, proud owners of a VOYAGE 43 foot catamaran built by VOYAGE Yachts. The Campbell’s decided that they were seeking a more adventurous life and were attracted to the idea of chartering their own boat. Not long after they arrived in the BVI their dream became a reality. Their choice was to operate the vessel under the management of VOYAGE charters, which was established in 1996.
Four years later and after many, many very successful charters as Captain & Chef aboard their yacht, Sean and Debs sold the boat and moved to the USA, again making a huge success in developing a new business, namely TheHomeMag.
When VOYAGE yachts launched the first of their new product, the VOYAGE 590 in 2020, Sean and Debs once again fell in love with not only the design and performance of this new yacht, but also the idea of owning a 590 and spending more time in the beautiful BVI's. The name "HomeAgain" was born and so appropriate to describe the amazing adventure that the Campbell's were about to embark on.
We wanted to be married in the BVI…not a US license and BVI ceremony, so we came in April with a lot of support from Voyage and BVI tourism who managed to get our BVI marriage license & visas sorted out in time to go by ferry to Anegada and plan for a beach braai at whispering pines (thanks to Barry aka Julian Berry) and an amazing ceremony and accommodations at Cow Wreck Beach (special thanks to Tika our wedding planner)…including a meeting with Reverend Erma who would be our BVI wedding official. We had a chance meeting with the island horticulturist and worked with the Seeds of Love campaign for post Irma recovery to plant a tree on Cow Wreck during the ceremony.
This beautiful charter yacht is the fourth 590 hull built within this stunning new production line, which has won "Best Charter Boat of the Year 2022". This international award from Cruising World included 27 other new designs.
The owners of VOYAGE charters, Rob and Jo Downing along with their family have been close friends of the Campbells for over 25 years. It is with great pleasure and much excitement that they welcome “HomeAgain” to the VOYAGE fleet as well as dear friends, Sean, Debs and their son Colin.
