VOYAGE charters offer a new progressive SCUBA service to all our crewed charter guests, the Select Diving Package. We have found that SCUBA diving adversely impacts the valuable time the Captain needs to operate the yacht and the Chef requires to provide excellent cuisine each day so VOYAGE charters have removed the SCUBA responsibilities from the professional crews therefore enabling them to focus on the high-quality service you and your guests deserve during your private charter vacation.
VOYAGE charters offers in-house certified SCUBA Dive Masters who will meet your yacht at a dive location and lead your party when you wish to SCUBA dive. Your crew will call him and arrange to meet up at the site and the Dive Master will raft his tender to your catamaran and SCUBA diving can proceed directly from your catamaran, or you may have him take you via fast tender to the dive site allowing non-diving guests in your party to enjoy alternate activities either onboard or ashore while you explore the undersea beauty of the BVI.
VOYAGE charters now offers Select Diving by appointment. We can schedule up to 3 dives a day by appointment: 10am, 12 noon and 3pm within the St Francis Drake Channel. This schedule allows divers to enjoy the best light and conditions when diving the spectacular sites located between Norman, Peter, Salt and Cooper Island. SCUBA diving will be offered at the ideal dive site daily based on your yacht location and the weather conditions.
VOYAGE charters ensures each client a high-quality, luxury experience by providing the most qualified Dive Masters and professional crews available during your charter vacation.
SCUBA diving courses and open water completion courses can be arranged with a local operator.
The fee for the Select Diving is $70 per dive for certified divers, (payable in cash to the Dive master).
The VOYAGE charters catamarans are ideally suited for you to optimize your diving adventure. Each vessel has a dive platform between the hulls at the back of the boat where you can prepare comfortably for your dive. At most locations, you simply step off this platform to start exploring the depths.
If you are considering becoming certified before your vacation, you can complete your open water dives here in the islands. This is known as open water referral and involves four dives over two days with a dive instructor. Any instruction is at the guest’s expense and with a local operator, who we can rendezvous with during the charter.
